Public Notice: Town of Riverhead — Zoning Board of Appeals hearings

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

Pursuant to Section 267 of the Town Law a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County, New York on September 28, 2017 at the Riverhead Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York, not before the time shown below on each of the following appeals:

 

7:00pm, prevailing time, Appeal No. 2017-055 – Andrea & Marc Comerchero – 270 Herricks Lane, Jamesport, SCTM No. 600-23-1-10.1, APZ Zoning- for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 301 Section 42 where the proposed rear addition has a side yard setback of 21.9 feet where the minimum required is 30 feet and from the provisions of Chapter 301 section 34 where the proposed accessory rear deck/pergola has a side yard setback of 17.1 feet where the minimum required is 20 feet.

 

7:00pm, prevailing time, Appeal No. 2017-056 – Cynthia Palombo – 14 Beach Club Lane, Wading River, SCTM No. 600-25-1-32 – RB80 Zoning- for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 301 Section 222 E where the proposed second story addition increases the gross floor area within the required front, side, and rear yard setbacks representing an increase in the degree of nonconformity of a preexisting nonconforming dwelling where such increase is not permitted.

 

Any person desiring to be heard on the above mentioned appeals should appear at the specified time and place.

 

Zoning Board of Appeals work session begins at 6:30 P.M. in the office of the Town of Riverhead Planning Department.
