Public Notice: Town of Riverhead - ZBA variance hearing

Pursuant to Section 267 of the Town Law a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County, New York on May 25, 2017 at the Riverhead Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York, not before the time shown below on each of the following appeals:


7:00 pm, prevailing time, Appeal No. 2017-030 – James Farley – 58 South Jamesport Ave, Jamesport - for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 301 Section 17 where the proposed front yard setback is 18 feet where the minimum required is 50 feet, the proposed side yard setback is 5 feet where the minimum required is 25 feet, the proposed combined side yard is 8.3 feet where the minimum required is 55 feet and from the provisions of Chapter 301 Section 222 B where the application represents a change from one preexisting nonconforming use to another nonconforming use requiring a special exception; two-family dwelling is proposed to be converted to a single-family dwelling and the construction of a new single-family dwelling is proposed, resulting in two detached single family dwellings on the subject parcel.
