Public Notice: Town of Riverhead - Zoning Board of Appeals hearings

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

Pursuant to Section 267 of the Town Law a Public Hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County, New York on April 27, 2017 at the Riverhead Town Hall, 200 Howell Avenue, Riverhead, New York, not before the time shown below on each of the following appeals:

 

7:00 pm, prevailing time, Appeal No. 2017-013 – Patricia Kalmar – 6 Smugglers Path, Jamesport, SCTM No. 600-8-2-10.3- for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 301 Section 9 Subsection A(1)(6) where the accessory deck exists 24.1 feet from the side street line where the minimum required is 50 feet.     

 

7:00 pm, prevailing time, Appeal No. 2017-024 – Fay Young, 4 Leafy Way, Aquebogue - for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 301 Section 17 where the proposed impervious surface is 21.9% of the lot where the maximum permitted is 15% and the proposed rear yard setback is 21.98 feet where the minimum required is 60 feet.

 

7:00 pm, prevailing time, Appeal No. 2017-025 – Sal & Maryanne Diliberto, 242 Manor Lane, Jamesport - for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 108 Section 25 where the constructed addition has a side yard setback of 22.9 feet where the minimum required is 30 feet.

 

7:00 pm, prevailing time, Appeal No. 2017-027 – Residence Inn by Marriott, 2012 Old Country Road, Riverhead - for variances to and/or relief from the provisions of Chapter 301 Section 249 where the proposed monument represents a second primary sign where only one is permitted.

 

Any person desiring to be heard on the above-mentioned appeals should appear at the specified time and place.

 

Zoning Board of Appeals work session begins at 6:30 P.M. in the office of the Town of Riverhead Planning Department.
